Principal's Message

Dear Fallsvale Families,

My name is Shannon Burch, and I am honored to be joining the Fallsvale team as your new Principal. With 11 years of experience in education, I am excited to bring my dedication and passion to this wonderful community. I am humbled to be able to serve Fallsvale and look forward to supporting student learning and success this year.

We are thrilled to offer grades TK-8 this school year. The school day runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:35 p.m., with bus pick-up for Angeles Oaks students at 3:15 p.m. Student drop-off begins at 7:45 a.m., and students are considered tardy after 8:10 a.m. Minimum days will occur most Thursdays, with dismissal at 12:45 p.m. You will see them on the calendar as “PD” (Professional Development) days. We will do our best to keep you informed of any changes. I highly value input from our community to help our school run smoothly. If you have any concerns or suggestions, please feel free to share them with me. I look forward to collaborating with you for a successful year.

Parent involvement and support are crucial in fostering a positive school culture and enriching experiences for our school community. We are always eager to have you get involved, whether by volunteering in the classroom or at school events, joining the Fallsvale Boosters or School Site Council, or sharing your talents and hobbies with the school community. Research shows that parent involvement in their child’s school significantly enhances student academic success. We are excited to have you on campus, and you are always welcome at our school.

At Fallsvale School, we pride ourselves on our size and culture. We believe that greatness often comes in small packages. The unique size of our school allows us to create a close-knit community where everyone is appreciated for their individual gifts, talents, and abilities. Our dedicated staff views our school as one learning community where every child is valued by every staff member. We are committed to creating a positive environment where all students and their families feel appreciated and welcomed.

The school staff and I will do everything in our power to ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful communication. Please check our Facebook page and school website for up-to-the-minute information. We will also contact you through Remind (by classroom teacher), send home flyers, and emails, and occasionally leave phone messages. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the school at (909) 794-8630 if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

I am always eager to discuss ways we can positively impact the learning environment and student experience. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] to discuss ways in which we can work together to best support the students of Fallsvale School.

Sincerely,

Shannon Burch

Principal
