Principal's Message

Dear Fallsvale Families,

My name is Dr. Cynthia Britt, and it is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! It is with integrity and honor that I look forward to serving our school and surrounding community as Principal of Fallsvale School. We are so glad to have you joining us! This handbook contains helpful information to keep you informed for the upcoming school year.

We are excited to be able to offer grades TK- 8 this school year. The school day times are 8:00 a.m. until 2:35 p.m. Bus pick up for the Angeles Oakes students is 3:15 p.m. Student drop-off begins at 7:45. Students are tardy after 8:10 am. Minimum days will take place every Thursday (dismissal at 12:45 pm). You will see them on the calendar as “PD” (Professional Development) days. As things are subject to change, we will do our best to keep you informed. I value input from our community to help our school run smoothly. If at any time you have a concern or suggestion, please feel free to share it with me. I look forward to working together with you for a successful year.

As we move forward as a cohesive community, we are looking for parents and community members that are interested in sharing their hobbies and Interests with our students. Please let us know if you would like to get involved, whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of our Grizzly Boosters, School Site Council, or attend school functions, you are encouraged to participate! Research on schools clearly demonstrates that parent involvement in their child's school coincides with a greater likelihood of academic success for their child. We are pleased to have you on campus, and you are always welcomed at our school!

Myself and our staff will continue to strive in providing a safe, clear communicative, and successful educational experience for all. Cohesively we will work toward a healthy and transparent partnership to continue and develop programs which best interest our students. As a community our students will learn best in the most enriched learning environments.

Here at Fallsvale we pride ourselves on our size and culture. We believe that greatness often comes in small packages. The unique size of our school allows us to create a school community where everyone is truly appreciated for their individual gifts, talents, and abilities. Our dedicated staff does not view our school as three separate classes, but rather one learning community where every child is valued by every staff member. We are committed to creating an environment where all students and their families feel appreciated and welcomed.

It is important that we keep you informed. Please check out our Facebook page called Fallsvale ES for up to the minute information. We will also contact you through Remind (school-wide and by classroom teacher), send home flyers, emails and occasionally leave phone messages. Please do not hesitate to call the school with questions or concerns. The school number is (909) 794-8630.

I have an open-door policy so please feel free to contact me anytime. We will also be having a monthly, “Coffee with the Principal”, so feel free to stop by and chat. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] I look forward to meeting you!
