Principal's Message

Dear Fallsvale Families,

My name is Chrissy Cox and I am honored to be joining the Grizzly team as the Principal of Fallsvale School. I am humbled to be able to serve this community and look forward to having the opportunity to support student learning and success this year.

We are excited to be able to offer grades TK- 8 this school year. The school day times are 8:00 a.m. until 2:35 p.m. Bus pick up for the Angeles Oakes students is 3:15 p.m. Student drop-off begins at 7:45. Students are tardy after 8:10 am. Minimum days will take place every Thursday (dismissal at 12:45 pm). You will see them on the calendar as “PD” (Professional Development) days. As things are subject to change, we will do our best to keep you informed. I value input from our community to help our school run smoothly. If at any time you have a concern or suggestion, please feel free to share it with me. I look forward to working together with you for a successful year.

Parent involvement and support help foster a positive school culture and experiences for the school community. We are always eager to have you get involved and volunteer in the classroom or at school events, join the Grizzly Boosters or School Site Council, or to have you share one of your talents or hobbies with the school community. Please let us know how you would like to be a part of the great things happening at our school. Research on schools clearly identifies that parent involvement in their child’s school coincides with a greater likelihood of student’s academic success. We are excited to have you on campus, and you are always welcomed at our school.

Here at Fallsvale we pride ourselves on our size and culture. We believe that greatness often comes in small packages. The unique size of our school allows us to create a school community where everyone is truly appreciated for their individual gifts, talents, and abilities. Our dedicated staff does not view our school as three separate classes, but rather one learning community where every child is valued by every staff member. We are committed to creating an environment where all students and their families feel appreciated and welcomed.

The school staff and I will do everything in our power to ensure accurate, timely, and meaningful communication. Please be sure to check our Facebook page, called Fallsvale ES, for up to the minute information. We will aslo contact you through Remind (both whole school and by classroom teacher), send home flyers, emails and occasionally leave phone messages. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the school at (909) 794-8630 if you have any questions, comments or concerns.

I have an open-door policy and I am always eager to discuss ways we can positively impact the learning environment and student experience. We will be having a monthly, “Coffee with the Principal,” and I would love to get the opportunity to chat with you. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] to discuss ways in which we can work together to best support the students of Fallsvalle.

Sincerely,

Christina (Chrissy) Cox
